What is an Isokinetic exercise?
Iso taken from Greek can be translated to mean ‘equal’. Therefore, the definition of Isokinetic can be defined as “consistent weight or constant pace”. Isokinetic exercise is a type of strength training practice in which you work at a consistent pace through various ranges of motions. In other words, it refers to the movement at a constant pace despite the extent of the force applied.
